Conner turned 4 yesterday!! (May 17th). It was crazy to think that four years ago we were at Madigan Army Medical Center enjoying our newborn baby boy. Conner had a great day enjoying time with all his friends at Edventure in Columbia - the Children's Museum here. It is a HUGE children's museum and I don't think we even touched 1/4 of the exhibits (Conner spent the majority of his time pretending to be a fireman on this full-sized fire truck exhibit). Fortunately we will have lots of time to check out all of the other exhibits since we are now members for the year! Conner is pretty excited about that also - thanks to the grandparents for getting him the membership! We finished off the day with a rousing trip to Red Robin where

Conner enjoyed his birthday sundae and decided mommy needed some whipped cream and chocolate fudge on her face too!
Conner had a great birthday, but he told us he missed his baby brother... so on his very own he came up with the idea that we should each let a balloon go for baby brother in heaven.

We each got a balloon as we were leaving Red Robin and sent them off to heaven for baby brother. Such a sweet big brother - he loves Hudson so much even though he only met him a few times. He's our tender heart... All in all, a great birthday for our big boy!
What a sweet boy Connor is. I'm glad he had a stellar birthday :) And you know what just freaked me out??! I'm not subscribed to your blog! The nerve! So I just fixed that right up. Now I can do some catchup reading :)
ReplyDeleteAnd here come the infamous 'Shawna water works!' You guys are the best parents in the world! Conner is a-maz-ing! Look at what a great job you are doing with him. What a sweet little heart he has. Happy Birthday to Mister Conner!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Conner had fun and that the Children's Musuem was a hit. The one in Tacoma is very small, not very exciting. Conner seems very in tune and super sweet. We let a birthday balloon go for Todd on his birthday every year. Good tradition! I can't believe he's 4 either...ahhhh!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like such a wonderful day! Happy Birthday to Connor!
