After a long journey through the South Carolina backwoods, we arrived at a nice, family Christmas tree farm in Gilbert, SC.
We spent some time looking for the perfect tree (of course there are no noble firs or any other such evergreen trees here in SC....) and settled on a cedar tree, which is a first for us!
We got back to the farmhouse and Farmer John took us on a nice hay ride around the farm. We finished up the journey with a nice cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows.
